Tamarr's loyalty to you was no accident of fate, it was natural for both of you and drew its strength from the best each of you could give to the other.

Tamarr: Partner, Companion, Friend

A special dog
It's not every day that a truly special dog comes along.  Tamarr was just such a one and I have been blessed to know him.

Tamarr, my friend, my partner, my companion.  A dog who loved everyone and every thing.  Went everywhere and did anything I ever asked of him, taking everything in stride.  Keeping me safe, keeping me here.  Tamarr passed away September 21st, 2009 at the age of 14. Find out more about him by reading his story.

This Memorial fund is established in his memory to provide care and training for future service dogs to make sure they have all that is needed.  A portion of gifts to the Tamarr Memorial Fund will go to Disability Assistance Dogs to support their mission to train assistance dogs for other people with disabilities.

How can you help?

It takes a great deal of time, energy and money to train a service dog.  With Tamarr's passing it is time to train another Service Dog.  There are vet costs and food and toys and beds and training and the list goes on.  My goal is to raise enough to support the next Service Dog and another $10,000 donated to Disability Assistance Dogs. So what can you do to help?  Click on one of the donate buttons below or anywhere on this site.  Make a gift to the Tamarr Memorial Fund which will be used to support future service dogs as well as Disability Assistance Dogs.  Or you can donate directly to Disability Assistance Dogs, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
